I guess Ricky Gervais was not the only one to take shots at the Hollywood elite. It was funny everything Ricky said by the way for those who didn’t see it. It appears Sir Elton John had a few choice words for the now 53 year old Madonna. Madonna is 53, wow I thought she was at least like 57 or 60. I remember her when I was a little kid, isn’t it about time she retired. I was never a fan, my sister was, I just feel like Madonna is the Lady Gaga of the past. The two operate off shock value, I remember how Madonna stirred up controversy with songs like ” Like a virgin” in 1984. Madonnas songs get rotational play for a very long time. I was three when the song came out and people stilled talked about it when I was old enough to know what they were talking about. I feel like I never lie to my readers, I mean the song was even dedicated to the pope. Madonna thrives on controversy, remember ” Like a prayer” and the music video.

I’m not saying Madonnas not talented, I just love when Idolized celebrities are taken down a notch, but this is not the case. Elton was interviewed by Carson Daly about who had a chance of winning in the same category in which Elton was nominated. Elton replied with confidence and I quote ” Mary J. Blige could win.” Madonna hasn’t got a f****ng chance !” Carson told Elton those words were “fight words” to which Elton said his words “are accurate words.” When Madonna heard this she stated, “Oh, damn him! May the best man win! On a side note was this a joke by Madonna on her self cause to me she is kind of manly just ask her ex-husband. Guy Richie called her “retarded”, “It” and said “making love to her was like cuddling a piece of gristle.”

I don’t won’t people to think I’m a Madonna hater, I just don’t idolize her like so many do. I think she is just a ordinary woman with average singing skills who is washed up. The best days of Madonna came before the James Bond soundtrack song ” Die another Day”. A song that Elton John said ” It hasn’t got a tune, it’s the worst Bond song of all time.” After listening to the song again since I haven’t heard since 2009 when it released, I have to say I agree with Elton. The song sounds like remixed techno garbage as if sang by Britney Spears, and will all know Britney’s singing skills are overrated. The music video is trying way too hard to be special, it was boring. I listen to all types of music so don’t think this is coming from some sort of bias.
Did your ears bleed, because all heard was noise and a song that doesn’t belong in the Bond franchise. The Bond films are celebrated with a cult like fan following that even I don’t get. Maybe Madonna and her crap song did us a favor by making a film franchise look worse that should have ended years ago. Elton has said more about Madonna so I doubt this is over. I say listen to what you want, but I think maybe Madonna isn’t as good as people are made to believe. The strange thing is Madonna dissed Lady Gaga and in my eyes the two are so much alike. Madonna called “Born this way” as a song “reductive”. I’ll take her word for it as I don’t listen to Lady Gaga, because I refuse to let her crap in my head. I will not defend either of them as I just see two attention whores trying hard to be relevant.
