It is usually invite-only, but there is an alternative to get it without an invitation.
Spotify has recently declared it free subscription – invite only – due to high demand. This means, unless you know someone who has a premium subscription and has an invite, you won’t be able to sign up for a free account with Spotify.
However, I have found a way to sign up for an account without needing an invitation.
Simply go to:
www.spotify.com/en/get-started
And fill out the form with your details to create an account…
No invitations, no headaches, just a simple way to get a Spotify account.
N.B. This method is in no way illegal, it is simply a link to an official Spotify website.
