Found a song you like on YouTube? fed up of having to keep clicking repeat to play it again? here’s how you can set YouTube videos to automatically repeat playback without having to keep replaying the videos.

First of all, you will need the Mozilla FireFox browser (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/). Once you have this, you will need to install the Greasemonkey addon for Firefox, download and add this to your Firefox browser from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748

Now that you have Firefox with Greasemonkey set up, ensure that Greasemonkey is running, you can do this by noticing the small icon (face of a smiley monkey) on the bottom right corner of your Firefox browser. If the icon is lit (coloured) then this means it’s on, good. If it’s greyed out, click this to turn it on.

You now have Firefox with Greasemonkey enabled and running, now that just leaves one more step, install the “Loopy” script to add a Loop button to your YouTube pages. Get the Loopy script from here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/28832 and click on Install (the green button on that page) and it will prompt you to verify this installation on a new dialog box. The Install button will take about 3 seconds to time out to give you time to read and make your judgement on the script, once you have clicked Install, you’re all set. Restart your Firefox browser, and navigate to http://www.youtube.com/ and watch a video, you will notice there is a small icon which says ‘Loop’ on the bottom right hand corner of the video, click this to highlight it, and it will continue to automatically repeat that video until you click it again to un-highlight it.
