Security Issues with Internet Explorer

Security

There have been a lot of security breaches on Internet Explorer. Are you personal settings safe?

I have heard a lot of buss lately about using the browser Internet Explorer. It seems there has been a security issue and people can steel your passwords and personal information.

I personally don’t like internet explorer and never have. I am not sure why but it seems more confusing to use or something. I use Firefox always and love the browser and feel secure whenever I search or save my passwords.

In this day and age with so many people out there trying to steel our identities and steel our money and personal information I am appalled by this. I would think technology has come far enough to make our safety using their service a number one priority.

It seems they do not even know when a patch will be avaible. Is your personal information safe when you use this browser? I do not believe it is and if you are smart switch now to another browser and change all of your passwords and information just in case that bug from Internet Explored go in.

    Hi Linda,

Thanks for your love and support. Nice meeting you. See you at Bukisa and Triond, when I’ve recovered from my sickness. I’ll have to miss you for a while but will read your works when my body is OK then.

    Regards,
    Chan

Linda, there are some specific stuff that you can do to make the the Internet Explorer more secure.

    - Go to Tools ( upper right of your screen ) – Internet Options selection – Privacy tab – set to Maximum
    - Go to Tools – Internet Options selection – security tab – Set to ‘high’. This might help.

Also, ’steel’ is ’steal’ and ‘avaible’ is ‘available’. Try the new spellchecker in the online editor.

Very good point about Internet Explorer. My advice is to go to mozilla.com and get firefox. I have been using it for years. It is really secure, no crashes and more functionality. I highly recommend it too because after the fist time you open it, it will blaze around the web. It’s free too.

Firefox is safe, secure. So is Mozilla and Seamonkey. I love Seamonkey more than Firefox, it loads faster and seems to not experience the ‘memory leaks’ that Firefox has. A ‘memory leak’ is not particularly harmful nor dangerous, but your available RAM slowly gets ‘busied’ and you have to either release the RAM, or shut-down/start-up to get a ‘clean’ session again. I use 3/4 Gig RAM and experience this after several hours of session and esp. with multiple browsers open and other applications (Photoshop, HTML-editor, etc.. I am a web-page builder.)

Always nice to hear someone learning the ‘good’ about non-IE ;-)
