WebAnswers offers users a way to have fun, and make money. After answering 50 questions (which can be done in a day or two) they send you a request to join Google Adsense, or allow you to link your current Adsense account in order to get paid.
How much you will earn depends on many factors.
You are paid to ask quality questions, but it appears nobody knows just how much you get paid as it is a fairly new feature.
You are paid per view at the rate of 60% of Google Adsense revenue on questions you have been Awarded the best answer for – known as “Accepted“. As such you can promote the questions you have been “Awarded” for. You will also get random views from searches and other users of the site over time. You do get money for views on questions that are not resolved, but this is considerably less and based on your over all “score” within the site.
Apparently prior to May 1, 2011 the site use to do fairly well, but Google’s Panda changes have lowered its ranking on Google Searches so users are finding they make slightly less money than they use to.
For people who enjoy answering questions, and sharing knowledge this is a very good site. For those who are looking to SPAM their sites, this is not a good idea, and you will get banned for posting unrelated links or spamming your website. You can list your websites in your profile.
There are a lot of categories but for some reason many people lump their questions into the Miscellaneous category where most are overlooked among the clutter. I would discourage you from doing this when asking a question.

Your chances of getting Awarded with the Accepted Answer improve when you give more information, and use good grammar and spelling. Try to answer with at least 50 words and 2 paragraphs.
I have uploaded a screen shot showing payment from webanswers, if you do not see a payment in your adsense reports and you have linked to your adsense you simply didn’t add the site to the reporting page, as I didn’t do this either at first, but was still getting paid, I just didn’t know how much!
This screen shot was about a month after starting, I am currently making more than double this amount and top users are reporting over $700 a month.
You do have to set your Google Adsense report to display your earnings, I had trouble doing this at first and thought I wasn’t getting paid but the day after I got that sorted out it was showing I had been paid all along, just didn’t know it!
There is no minimum payout since it is Google Adsense that pays you and the money goes directly into your Google Adsense account. As of September 2011, some countries are banned from using WebAnswers due to fraud, you can check here to see if your country is on the banned list, or can check the WebAnswers site itself.

I signed under AskSan. Working on my 10 questions. Google TOS applies. Interesting that they will allow you to get an Adsense account without having a blog or website. This is good for writers at Triond, Bukisa, Xomba, TNTPages that want or need an account to earn. Payout is through your Google Adsense account which has a minimum $100 payout.
