You can earn more from your Triond pages by allowing Google AdSense ads to appear across them. No question about it.
Those who have been writing online for some time may already have an AdSense account. For newer Triond writers, the process can be confusing.
Once you go to Google and try to sign up for an AdSense account, one of the first things you’ll be asked is to provide is your primary URL. At this juncture many people become stumped and close off the window. If you don’t have a site, you don’t have a URL, right?
There’s an easy solution. Simply swing over to Blogger and sign up for a free blog. You can create a blog in mere minutes. Just follow the instructions. Once your blog has been created, grab the blog URL. It will look like this: http://wwwmy site.blogspot.com. (If you aren’t in a great hurry, give some thought as to what you’d like to blog about and then use that information to create a suitable name for your blog before you create it.) You can now use your blog to link to your Triond articles, which helps to send traffic to these. In a future article I will give instructions about how to set up AdSense at your Blogger blog.
How to Create an AdSense Account.
- Type in Google AdSense in your browser (or click the link)
- Check that English is displayed in the box in the right hand corner
- Hit the blue bar that says “Sign up now” (at the top, on the right)
- Enter your Blog’s Url (copy and paste it) or, if you don’t know how to copy/paste yet, type it in very carefully, making sure it is accurate
- Select your website language
- Tick the two boxes
- Select your account type either “individual” or “business.” In most cases you should select “individual,” unless you have a company
- Make sure your payee information and mailing address are accurate
- Tick the boxes at the bottom of the form and submit your information
At “My Account” you’ll have access to your Google ID number. It’s at the bottom of the page, in the section: “Property Information.” It will look something like this: pub-0000000000000000.
Run your mouse over your ID number and copy/paste it into a file, so that you can readily access it. While you can always visit your Google account again and you will be doing so in the future to check your AdSense earnings, having your number at the ready makes it so much easier when you need insert it at the different sites that require this information.
You will need to set up your Triond account for Adsense. Once you do, Triond and Google will do the rest and include advertising on your pages at Triond.
Now get busy and create a number of good quality articles and you’ll see your AdSense earnings start to take off!

This is a good start for the newbies. I’ve been using Google Adsense for about a year but the whole thing is still a bit confusing. I’m using it on 2 of my sites, they did wonderfully for few weeks but the ads disappeared after few months. It says that my ads are inactive due low page impressions or something like that. I don’t understand what it means though I did try to find out from GA forum, not much help there. Probably you can write an article about this? Just a suggestion though. Thanks.
Good info. The earnings from Triond has dropped otherwise, so getting Ad-Sense brings it back to the usual.
Hi Faith,
Try adding more content and see if that corrects the problem. This sounds unusual because usually if you are approved, AdSense will continue to run on your pages. It is very hard to find any email address to reach Google support but you could try their forums.
Hi Rana,
Yes, the addition of AdSense will be a boon to those writers who have created a number of keyword optimized pages.

Hi Athlyn
A helpful article, thank you.
I have been using Google Adsense on my own sites for some time now, and I joined Triond yesterday.
I’ve published 5 articles on Triond so far and added my Google Adsense account today. It was accepted, but now your “You will need to set up your Triond account for Adsense. Once you do, Triond and Google will do the rest and include advertising on your pages at Triond.” confuses me somewhat:
On my Google Adsense account, in the “allowed sites” section, I list the sites that are allowed to display my ads – to help prevent somebody taking my adsense ads and putting them on a site Google Adsense terms and conditions do not agree with and get my account banned – so I guess I will have to add all 18 Triod sites to this list of “allowed sites” otherwise I will not earn from the clicks on the ads on my articles. Triond cannot do this for me.
