And I have the screenshot to prove it. Google Toolbar has a secret Trojan with it, ready to infect your computer. I am glad that Avira Antivir can catch it right before the infection.
I still do not know if this infection came with the software directly from Google’s servers nor I can know if their software is so good that caught an infection later.
You see, somethings are just not to be trusted to other people. Google Toolbar is probably the worst thing you will ever install because it will send Google every page you are on just to learn more about you.
This is terrific.
Think twice.
Have you ever wondered why everything at Google is free? They charge you, maybe not in cash, but in knowledge. They know more about you than ever you do about yourself.
They have the most detailed information about just with your past searches and also because of your navigation history.
Google cooperates with the government and other institutions sending information about you.
If you search a lot about sensitive subjects you might get a ring from the FBI soon, very soon.
The solution is either to stop using Google or to use privacy tools such as anonymous browsing and history cleaning tools such as Better Privacy for Firefox.

We are actually at the mercy of those using our information. Let’s just make the most of this technology which originally was a strategy to gain advantage.

I’m sure software downloaded from *.google.com is not infected by viruses. Although, you’re probably right about all the information they have.
