We all know that at the beginning March 2011 Google started running its new algorithm. Many websites got hurt by this. An important thing to remember is that Google officials really did not mention that the algorithm was certainly going after content farms. As a matter of fact, the term was never stated. They basically highlighted “low quality” posts. But the truth is that they were also singling out those that were utilizing SEO technique in negative ways.
Now we also know that Ehow somehow got away from this new advanced bot. In fact, in March the site really got more traffic than ever and the writers saw a huge increase in earnings. That sure was a good news, but things have suddenly started going downhill this April.
Take a look at the image given above. It seems that although late the Google algorithm has finally grabbed Ehow. But a little improve is seen here also. Let’s just hope that the site ends up getting the traffic it is losing right now.
What is shown above might look discouraging for writers writing for other sites. You must know that Google keeps changing its algorithm almost every year. They are just trying to give importance to all the sites that contain people’s hard work. Today you might lose some visitors, but remember they might again start coming to your articles next year. Just keep your hopes up and keep publishing fresh content.
