Three Writing Sites Where You Can Earn Cash

Money Making

My three favourite sites where you and I can earn some money online.

I love earning money. When I receive my payments, be it for real life work or online activities, I feel a great pride in myself. I love the joy I feel when I’ve earned something for myself. In recent months, I’ve found myself spending more and more time online, trying to earn even more money. At first, I was earning enough to buy a new Playstation 3 game, or a Blu-Ray movie, off E-Bay every 2-3 months. Now, I’m reaching a stage where I can begin to earn a sizeable side income, just through my online work. My three favourite sites for earning online are outlined below.

Triond

Triond is the site that I have earned most of my online money from. In all, I’ve earned over $150 on Triond. Last month (August 2009) alone, I earned almost $20. That’s a lot of money for 120 publications. $0.17 per publication might not seem like much, but this isn’t a one-time payment. This equates to $2 per year, per publication. Imagine if I had a few thousand publications. This is an attainable goal, with just a small amount of effort. If I write just 5 new articles per day, I’ll have more than 750 publications by the end of the year. To begin earning on Triond, just follow the yellow-brick road link.

Bukisa

Bukisa, like Triond, is a writing site. You write new content for Bukisa. When it is viewed, you get paid royalties. I don’t earn as much on Bukisa as I do on Triond, but I do not have as much content either. On average, I earn about $10 per month. As I write more content for Bukisa, I imagine this will grow a lot. My target is to reach $20 per month by the end of 2009. Although Bukisa offers a lot of new features, I still prefer Triond for its familiarity. I also prefer Triond because it has been around longer and is trusted by most (if not all) of its writers. To start receiving payments from Bukisa, sign up now!

GetAFreelancer

GetAFreelancer is a free-to-join site. On this site, you can become connected with people who are looking for freelancers to write articles. Unlike Triond and Bukisa, you will not earn long term royalties from this site. People will give you upfront payments for any of your work which they accept. You will be given projects/tasks and a deadline by which time you will need to have them complete. My highest paying job to date was $30 for a 1000 word essay, but these kinds of jobs are relatively rare. You can earn a sizeable amount per day (or weekend if you’re busy during the week) through GetAFreelancer. You can join now here to start earning money for writing.

Thanks. I don’t see the money in Triond yet and I have submitted more than 50 articles. But I do have a lot of readership though. I have only been writing for two months. One of my articles has 200 views. Anyhow, thanks for the info regarding the other sites. Let me add another site where you can make some good money. Helium. I also write for that.

Two other sites where you can earn from writing are Xomba and Associated Content. AC is a lot like Triond where you can earn money from page views and sometimes upfront payments too.

GetAFreelancer sounds actually quite interesting although the fact that they dictate what you write seems a bit dodgy to me especially if you are a student but the money seems good. Interesting article and definitely giving me a thought to try it out. Good work.

Constant Content is another good site but they only pay you when someone buys your work and then they take a cut but you can name your own price.

Hi, be careful with getafreelancer. It is easy to work around their escrow system, but if you do this you risk not getting paid. Read my article on my ghostwriting, and being unpaid on GAF or getafreelancer. They pay a bit low too. There are a lot of other sites that pay better.

    Hi Greyian,

And hi to everyone. Try Suite 101. You may earn more than $20 a month there. Some writers are earning hundreds of dollars in that site.

You may also want to visit my blog for more info on where to find freelance writing sites that pay better.
