Is it possible to earn money or make money online? Yes, many have done so, including me!
There are many different ways of earning money online. I have tried many and earned some money online, some places more than others. Not all places are legitimate. There are scams, so one needs to be careful. Don’t rush into any business opportunity. Take your time and do some research and do your due diligence. If too much money is involved, wait till you are more experienced.
It’s best to start where you can’t lose any money. Let me tell you about a couple of free online sites where I have been and am successful:
Triond is a good place. It’s free to join. There is no investment and if you are good at writing and like writing, it can be a good place to earn residual income or royalties from articles you write only once. Much like a singer gets royalties or residual income from making a CD. Explore the place, learn as much as you can and start writing.

Mylot is another place good place to earn. There is no investment and it’s free to sign up. You earn by simply posting comments on a wide variety of topics. You can start your own topic and every time you reply to a comment made by someone else you also get paid. The longer the conversation, the more you earn. It’s a place to meet some nice people and learn a lot from other people.

With these two places, you can’t lose any money. You improve your writing and conversation skills and earn money at the same time.
Can you earn some substantial money with these sites? You won’t become a millionaire overnight? In fact, you may never become a millionaire! But they have some good potential and it may open doors to other online business opportunities and ways of earning additional income. And they are both educational and fun places and free!

With Triond/Google Adsense and Bukisa, I’m able to earn over $200 a month now. I checked out MyLot but it seems it is only available for US residents. That’s really too bad because I am in Canada.
