When am I ever going to earn from Triond?
I know some of you are earning hundreds of dollars from Triond, but I wonder how? Earning from Triond seems to be more tricky than I thought and makes me wonder are the dollars going to be restricted only to those lucky few (I am sure they are working really hard for this!) or would it ever trickle down to lesser mortals like us! 
In the two years I have been in Triond, I travelled from extremes of enthusiasm to disappointment to hope to desperation. One day I have hordes of people visiting my articles, and the other day no one seems to care! Every month I would wait for the cents to convert in to a dollar but the buck would stop somewhere around that! It is shocking but my highest earning till date was 6.75$! Sigh…
However, some writers here have learnt to earn from Triond. The secret seems to be more and more content. The more articles you write for Triond, the more you earn from Triond. I am trying very hard to get those written and posted here. Slowly and surely, I would be there. However, is that the only thing that matters in Triond?
The other point that I feel works a lot is writing on the hot topics that Triond keeps prompting on your face. Those are the keywords that Triond is trying to push in to the web and those are the articles that would help one earning more at Triond. One should aim to write more on those. I know its difficult to write about any of those hot content like Mitch Fatel or Yale student death, nevertheless, I think we can still find those topics that might interest you…for example, writing about “More to Love”…hmm that seems interesting!
Finally, the most difficult part – advertising. No matter how much triond thinks about you, it is inevitable that you have to sell your articles to earn money on triond. Yet, I think how many of those readers actually click on those ads so that you can earn! It weird, but is that the only way one earns by writing on Triond – ads? I would really like some of you to enlighten me on that!
I have decided to work hard to get more hot content on to Triond and advertise it as much as I can…but how? What are the other ways to advertise your Triond articles to earn more other than Triond itself?

Yes, more and more articles is the only way to do it. Sharing it’s only secondary. More articles means always more content to attract new readers.

I am a new writer on Triond and it kills me to think it is just a waste of time. The reality though, i do not have a degree in writing so Triond is a way for me to get experience and market myself so that other sites or company might consider me when they view my writing profile. I use Triond as a guide to learn more about writing and view other people’s work like yours which teaches me a whole lot!

Yes, I agree with you Sasha…Triond gives us the freedom to experience and that is why I can’t dump it even if it pays me trickes.

I’ve written hell loads of articles on how to really ace the articles and get enough views to change into money and I must say $6.75 is IMPRESSIVE! When I first started my average earnings were only $1 which is pretty stupid. I earned like a dollar in the first month and stopped writing on Triond. But then when I really started writing this summer, it’s paid off! Patience really is key and if you write loads of articles with the right ingredients then you will earn loads more. My best earning is $33 and still going (this month) but it is a bit disappointing because I live in the UK and $1 is like only £0.50 which is really stupid…OH WELL, keep working and it will have amazing dividends!

Good article, $6.75 is pretty good! my best so far is $1.51 which is quite dissapointing. Will have to produce a bit more content i think.

1.48 is my best and i have been doing it just over a year, but like my advisor said to me, you wont earn a lot but you will get your stuff out for all to see, that was good enough for me until i find somewhere better, thanks for sharing as we are all in the same boat.

Triond pays per views. So it only makes sense that the more articles you write the more views you will get.
some other suggestions I might offer is 1. begging send your profile page to everyone on your email list, ask them to read the articles that interest them and then send it on to everyone on their email list asking them to do the same. Tell them you are setting a goal and trying to get so many views in a day. Give them an exact number you are aiming for.
This got me one big boost of about 400 views and enough people who now follow me to add 25 to 30 views a day from non triond members.
2. reading others work also gets them to read your yours and adding friends make thems aware when you publish something new
3. social websites help also.
4. catchy titles helps get a lot of views.
I have been on this site for about 5 months now, and while still low my income has grown steadily. I am aiming for making 75.00 a month by the time I have been writing a year.

I feel the same. However, the lack of riches does not bother me. If you really want to earn money from Triond, you are going ot have to work darn hard for it. On the other hand, if you are like me, and treating Triond as a ‘hobby’ and the money is a bonus, then you won’t go far wrong. I have my name ‘out there’ now. Not in the capacity I want it to be, but I will sort that one out!
But I agree, the more articles, the more dollar!

Good read. Based on my calculations on the number of articles and earnings trend, you need to write at least a thousand articles to earn a hundred dollars. That’s writing diligently about 3 articles per day for a year. But of course, quality articles matter.

I believe there is something seriously wrong on Triond page views. It is not consistent as per page views and payment. But overall it’s a good site. I feel if you market your article intelligently then you can earn a significant amount from triond.
