Are There Ethical Work at Home Based Businesses or Jobs on the Internet?

Money Making

The internet can be a very risky place to make money. It’s ladened with so called “Work At Home” ponzi schemes.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but it has been my personal experience that trying to find one that is ethical and forthcoming with honesty ranks somewhere up there with encountering UFO’s, extra terrestrials, and the legendary unicorn. I have been searching for many years now and have not yet found one! I guess here in america, the name of the game has become, trying to make as much money as you can, in the shortest amount of time, with as little honest work as possible. It just baffles me that it seems this is now the acceptable norm. I think there is a direct connection between this accepted ideology and the present state that the american economy is currently in. In short, you can no longer trust anyone. When you can no longer trust your fellow man, the free flow of commerce, we have so much come to take for granted, erodes, breaks down. So, where do we go from here? Yes I really think this is it folks. This is how the beginning of the end starts. One can only guess, if anyone evan cares anymore, How do we reverse this ideological trend? Is it just me? I feel like I’m in some twilight zone episode and know one else evan notices or cares. Of corse unless it’s you, that happens to be the one that gets ripped off. Than and only than some one should lend an ear. Just as long as the crap is outside your front door, or NIMBY, not in my back yard, it’s OK right?

The internet can be a wonderful way of doing business and progressing the free flow of commerce, if we can respect it’s power, use it ethically and responsibly. The internet can also be very dangerous. In the wrong hands It can literally ruin lives and does every day! Think about it, if some of the most successful people in the world trusted Bernie Ma-doff for so many years, how can you trust someone you don’t know, who’s trying to sell you some get rich quick scheme on the internet? I believe about 99% of these so called “WORK AT HOME JOBS”, you see on the net are ponzi schemes, a bunch of CRAP, designed and worded to do no more than  get you to pull out your wallet and rip you off! They fill you full of lies, promise you the world. But just as soon as you punch in those credit card numbers, all that crap and support they promised you, spoils faster than Chinese food left in a hot car on a summer’s day.

So just what can we do about this fraud that seems to be running so ram-pit on the net. Well I hate to say it but, I think it may just be about time for a little federal  intervention, regulation, on these get rich quick schemes that are so prevalent on the net these days. We need to rewrite the rules, close the loopholes that allow this  fraud to go on. Just imagine for a moment, if you could trust most  ways of making money on the net that people sell you, rather than less than one percent, if you luck out. That means, what they sell you actually works, “MAKE’S YOU MONEY”. lets face it, we now live in the computer age. Wether you like it or not, computers are here to stay and very much play an integral part in how we do business. You know, maybe if the writers for these get rich quick schemes were forced to put there terms of agreement in the forefront of their web-page, in big exciting bold letters. they all might just sort of  slowly evaporate, cause people would be able to see right through the bunch of crap they are. You see, we need to amend the laws if you will, with the aid of federal government of course. I bet the scammers would be quaking in their boots if they were reading this right now. But I digress. You see, what you scammers out there do, is fundamentally wrong and unethical for this reason. Imagine this, you just lost your job, and as you may very well know, the chances of you or just about anyone else, especially these days, being able to find another job soon, may be easier said than done. And if someone who’s lost their job is living paycheck to paycheck, the last thing they need is to be wasting valuable time, putting faith into something that will only give them false hope. Ultimately, sometimes what ends up happening, is some of these people turn to the state and federal government for financial aid, thus further burdening us taxpayers. you see. When you selfish scammers prey on people who are in this situation, your not only ruining their lives your also potentially ruining their families lives, including the lives of innocent children.

Here are a couple of ways these scammers get you to pull out your wallet. first you might receive an email that says you can make hundreds of dollars a month filling out survey forms for example, sound familiar? So in order to find out the particulars, you have to pay a fee of $39.95 lets say. And than they say you can only get it at this low price of $39.95, if you order it in the next 24 hours. And it has a 100% money back guarantee!  So you might think, what do I have to lose? EVERYTHING! How about your identity, your piece of mind, your time etc…  So like a jackass, you pull out that wallet. Now heres when the chinese food spoils in the hot car. That PDF file you just paid $39.95 to download, might then ask you, if you want the real deal, for only $69.95 more, you will get personal help from mentors like yourself who are making tuns of money each month. So if your REAL STUPID, you’ll pull out your wallet again. And when all’s said and done, and you sadly find out what you wasted your money on, IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT YOU JUST PAID FOR DOESN’T WORK! Because, when it comes time to get paid for those surveys you’d completed, you are now directed to yet ANOTHER WEB PAGE that says you must Complete a few offers if you want to get paid. Now these offers mean you have to BUY STUFF in order to GET PAID! Is that ridiculous or what. And when it finally dawns on you, that you’ve just been scammed, your next step might be to try and get back that refund they promised you, IF YOUR LUKY. So let’s see, that $109.90 you just lost, might have been better spent: putting gas in your car, buying mac & cheese and spam for dinner, because you may not have a job any longer.

Another GREAT! way to get ripped off can be what is known as the “O.P.M.” scam. This is when you get a phone call from a tele marketer. Now typically what these tele marketers will do, is entice you with some extravagant money making venture. It could be selling stuff on Ebay or selling Ebooks online lets say. and here’s were they get really tricky. First they grease you buy asking you about your personal financial information, what your personal goals might be, your retirement plans etc. Than they tell you how they can help you achieve your goals, Improve your financial situation, whatever that may be. Essentially, what they do is befriend you, man it’s almost like you can feel their arm around your shoulder reaching through the phone. Next they might tell you is that there’s hundreds if not thousands of people who realy want to join their mentoring program, were they supposedly hold your hand to help you get your internet business up and making you money. But of course they can’t work with every one. So this person on the other end of the line might tell you he or she has to get approval from their supervisor before they’ll work with you. But they may say you sound like you have a very good chance of being selected. So next, they will ask when the next best time would be to let you know wether you’ve been accepted for the mentoring program or not. Gaining your trust is essential to these thieves because, what I’m going to tell you next ought to send a chill up your spine. So, now finally you get that call early in the evening, wile your eating your dinner of course. Now your on the phone with the boss. He tells you that his sabordenant  thinks you are a prime candidate for the tutorial program, but he has just a few more questions. This is where he asks you “how good is your credit score”, and you may tell him what business is it of yours, if your smart. or you might tell him, your not sure. The important thing is what he asks you next. Do you know what “O.P.M.” means. You may or may not know, but what the acronym O.P.M. means is “OTHER PEOPLES MONEY” He basically is trying to get you to finance this hole mentoring program on your credit card. and than he will proceed to tell you not to worry, it’s not your money, as though the bank won’t hold YOU responsible when it comes time to pay the loan back. Folks this may just be my opinion, and I know EVERY BODIES GOT ONE. But, I think this is nothing more than bank robbery by proxy.  I have personally received a couple of calls like this in the past. And know, I did not take the BAIT! One of them proceeded to put me down, telling me I’d never amount to anything if I wouldn’t take risks. Well I’m certainly not stupid. I’m not just going to jump into an empty swimming pool because someone says there will be water in there before I hit the bottom. Just take a wild guess how much they wanted me to finance on my credit card. They wanted SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! They should have wrapped that price up in see through lavender cellophane wrap, and put a nice big bow on it, than quietly an ever so gently put it in my lap, as though it were my birthday, easter, or something.

You have to be very careful these days. scammers are around every corner. People are losing their homes, because they can no longer pay their mortgages etc. They’ll stop at nothing to snatch up money any way they can. Stay out of harm’s way. Maybe a way around all of this could be for the federal and or state government to legislate, make it possible for people to file civil lawsuits against these fraudulent website owners. After all their making nebulas figures each month, and they should be able to afford it right?

Just to summarize, if we could make the work at home internet based businesses for the most part, trustworthy, we can begin to rediscover our computers as friendly, wonderful profit making tools, and not armless bandits with a keyboard. It’s time to weed out the bad stuff.
