- SEO: the first sense that comes to our mind when we talk about traffic is that people search for the required information on search engines like google,yahoo,AOL , Bing and many more.have you heard the word “SEO” and wondered what that was?. well, it’s called the search engine optimization and it means to assign keywords to your posts such that your website can be viewed on top sections of the searched pages.although this needs quite good amount of research. doing this can display your website in the top sections of the search engine pages and drives huge amount of traffic each day.try to view other sites explaining SEO and try to edit your keywords based on them.
- Social Bookmarking: trying to bookmark your website/blog on social websites such as stumbleupon,twitter,digg,facebook,myspace etc. can increase your daily traffic by a good amount. always try to post your blog’s address in the above named sites regularly, so that people can get the latest information from your blog.The best practice is to post your blog’s url in these websites every time you make a new post.
- Using signature space effectively: many take the signature space allotted to them in some forums like digital point lightly and write rubbish like “this place is for sale” or” you have wasted 5 seconds reading this” . instead this space can be used for something useful such as posting your site’s URL with something good written like “FREE SEO TIPS AND TRICKS” and create some interest in viewers mind even though he does not want to click that. this signatures are viewed every time you post in that forums,so one can be tired of viewing that and will click the link once and if your blog is of good quality then the viewer will click back the next day also.
- Link back to your site: if you find any website or blog explaining a topic which you also posted in your blog or website, then make an effort to reply to that post in a good manner and put your website link in the reply like this “FOR MORE
Serious warning to users who want traffic: do not join auto surf sites even you are getting huge amount of traffic especially one’s which have google ads or other because it’s against the TOS (terms of service) of many ad service programs, and as a result your account might get deleted.and always remember a BOT is always watching you so do not dare to click on your own ads!
