01. Live Music – “A simple 2-column WordPress template for every type of blog.” Another favorite of mine is when there is an image in the header backgrounds and they’re big, bold, and blocky!

02. ChaosTheory – “A dark single-column theme with a minimal, techy feel.”A minimalistic blog with a few features I find nifty. The blog title, category, author, and other information in beside the blog content, rather than being above or below it. Also, this is a one-column theme, a particular thing I’ve big digging lately. The links and other information that would normally be in the sidebar of a wordpress theme, is in the footers in this particular wordpress theme.

03. Yoko -“Yoko is a modern three-column blog theme.” This theme is shockingly very customizable! It can switch from one to two columns, and allows you to “choose your own background, link color, logo and header image.” There are other great flexible features you should check out (such as using different post formats for using galleries, video, etc!).

04. Ships Ahoy! – “A simple, three column, widget-ready WordPress theme.” The color theme is beautiful, the headers are coded nicely and fit neatly onto the page. In the image preview you can see photos in the sidebar. I think this would make for a good photo blog if you’re also interested in having a lot of text content to coincide with the photos.

15. Mountain Dawn – I love this theme because it has only one column. I like minimalistic themes because, obviously, large and overcrowded themes are annoying, hard to read, and a real eye sore.
