Writing article is fun. But it can be very boring if you spend too much time on writing. People, who take article or blog writing seriously, spend ours in front of their computers. It makes them happier when they get the reward in the form of real money. But does it worth spending hours for article writing? Are you getting the as much return as you are expecting? Or you are working too hard for too less?

This is for those writers who write for money not only for pleasure. If you are spending majority of your day thinking and writing for some very moderate money then think again. Though it’s not a bad idea to do so rather many super successful blogger make a living out of it. But for earning significant amount of money, it’s a good idea to work smarter than work harder. The point here is, if you work hard without proper planning and system then your hard work will not reward you the way it should be; and that’s disappointing. This is the reason why many writers leave the field of writing/blogging- tired and disgusted.
Earning is all about traffic. More traffic you can pull in more you successful will be. But for that it’s not a good idea to work like machine. When you blog, think what interests you most. What is it that you like to share with your readers? You must choose a subject/s on that you have your own interest and more importantly you’ve researched over it time to time. We all know if we love our work than things become much more easier. We need to give less effort and enjoy the work more. So choose the fields on which you have knowledge and skill, spread it to the world. Not only you’ll enjoy it by not getting tired also new ideas will come up to your mind every now and then.
It is always a good idea to follow successful bloggers and their writing style. But at the end of the day you need to come out with your original creative article. So, write article whenever you have chance, write on your favorite subjects, and share it properly. Don’t get shy to share it. Often people try to share their work with the whole world by submitting links to the social media sites but they don’t share it with their friends and family members. This is a silly mistake. If you want fast and good traffic you should share your writing with the people who you know closely. If you send them links they (at least most of them) will certainly spread your links to their friends and relatives. This is a networking system. And this will certainly increase your traffic significantly.
If you write good articles on your favorite subject and then first share it to the people who matter most and can give you sure shot increase of traffic – you’ll never be disappointed when you’ll see your earning dashboard.
Of course, there are many ways to increase traffic and be a successful blogger. But this article is about the very basic thing about article writing. This is about working smarter than working harder.

Excellent tips and very true. Don’t spend hours in front of the computer blogging. It’s not about the number of articles that you write, it’s what you write and how creative you are. It’s also about marketing. Great title. Work smarter. Try to come up with topics that other readers will want to read and come back to later on.

I normally write on anything i feel like writing and mostly prefer to write a chain of articles on a single topic so that i can interlink my articles. I may be doing something right as i find majority of my articles or blogs on the first page of Google.

While I understand what you are saying, I make my entire living by writing both for myself and for clients. When I write for clients I write what they want the way they want it and believe it or not I find it quite stimulating to find that I can put out exactly what they are expecting whether I am personally interested in the topic or not.

Hmm…some good advice here Sourav
I find share-sites (used properly) and other peoples blogs (used respectfully) are more gainful…but what works for some don’t necessarily work for others.

This is excellent advice. It is easier to write if you forget about the money you would make writing.
