With today’s struggles and stresses of the modern world, more people are turning to another side of themselves.
With the age of the Internet, bloging, web pages and social networking it’s easy to slip into a fantasy world. Be as happy and successful as you want it’s your world after all.
Many people from all over the globe have benefited from this fantasy life, people who otherwise wouldn’t get out and about, for reasons known to themselves.

People with social phobias can help themselves get better. After all it’s sometimes easier to talk to a complete stranger, that not face to face.

Totally agree with you…Internet for me has open windows to immense knowledge. I can find anything under the sun on WWW. However, you rightly pointed out that it is also addiction. People do start living dual life. This is especially rampant in chat rooms. You never know who you are talking to!

I guess. I keep thinking one doesn’t miss what one never had.
I never wanted a computer until I got one. Now I worry about the power going off.

Cyberspace is Pandora’s Box. I remember a great man recently wrote, “All roads to hell are paved with good intentions” (I don’t know if I got it right) for we’ll never know what went wrong when it comes. As for the moment, let us wait, see and enjoy.
