Review on Whirled.

Whirled is an open beta game created by Three rings(or SEGA). It is a social network game where users can create avatars, rooms, furniture and even games(if they have enough knowledge).

Characteristics:

Template: Template or menu design changes depending on the room you are in(only on top). There are limitless rooms which you can explore. Toys, furniture, pets are all designed by the user & the community.

Currency: Of course there is currency! There are three types

Coins – This is the easiest obtained currency in the game. You earn it by playing games and/or selling coin-tagged items(items which has a coin price).

Bars – Buyable through payment methods. You can get it through payment with real cash or exchange it with Bling.

Bling – You can get this by selling bar-tagged items and/or having a popular game and getting a share in the bling pool(which is $100,000, the most popular game’s developer’s get the share). You can exchange this for bars. One perk of this currency is that you can exchange this for dollars(minimum of 500 bling required to exchange)! Neat, isn’t it?

Gameplay: What? Gameplay? There is quite a bit of it though. You get to play the mini-games created by the community but some require some packs, such as Qbeez whirled, to access some parts of the game.

Interaction: There are many social interactions in whirled. Most of the games, such as Werewolf 2 and Scribble(was that the name?), require some players to begin. You can also chat between players in rooms. There is also the party option to gather up your friends to a designated area.

Membership: There was a membership before,”Club Whirled”, which gives you a chance to broadcast(send a message across whirled) and a free avatar gift excluzive to club whirled members each month. Now it is gone and currently there is none at the moment.

PvP: I only see corpse craft(#1 game ranking in whirled of all time) have a multiplayer PvP gameplay, try to find some in the game.

I like the game, as it is a community-driven one. You can also gain extra income by selling really attractive & cool items( usually avatars). A game worth playing if you like a social network with games.

Wait, isn’t this just like Facebook except u meet strangers more often?
