Yet another installment of SlackerDan’s weekly list of websites to keep you entertained and unproductive at work.
Here we are again on another Monday, another start of the week. Here’s ten URLs from SlackerDan that hopefully will make today a little easier for you.
What Should I Read Next?
If you like books you’ll love What Should I Read Next. In the search bar you type in a book and author and this site will recommend other books in a similar genre for you to read. With a database of over 47,000 suggestions, it’s a good chance you’ll find other books to read.
Color Ball 3
There’s a little bit of annoying advertising on this site, but playing Color Ball 3 is worth it. Very simple premise to the game: touch the moving balls that are the same color as your ball. Fun game, with a high score board too.
English Fail Blog
Ah, another fine Internet meme: posting pictures of people “n things experiencing failure. There”s some hilarious pictures there like this one that has been popular for awhile:

Heh, “Ameirca”. Anyways, there’s lots more FAIL pictures on this site, try not to laugh too loud at your workplace or your boss just might FAIL you.
The Most Annoying Sound in the World
Here’s a neat little story on the Web that also makes you wonder about the future of humanity. I’m not going to spoil the story for you; just click on the URL’s as you read. And indeed the sound is most annoying.
Balance
Challenging web game time, Balance is just that: you have to balance a weight on a stick, the longer you do so, the more points you gain. I got 2295 points, can you beat me, SlackerDan the Internet Slacker, if you dare? (yeah, I know you probably can).
Addicting Games
Talking about webgames, here’s a whole site devoted to games. There must be easily over 100 games at this website! From action to adventure, from sports games to strategy, you’ll have no problem finding entertaining games here.
Ubersite
Here’s a great site for writers and those who like good writing. Ubersite (”Because the Future is Uber”) is a website where stories are submitted and then voted on by the Uber community. I’ve had some articles published on Ubersite, and the other users gave me excellent critiquing about my writing. So if you have some stories you wrote that you’d like submitting, or just want to read some very entertaining stories, give Ubersite a try.
Molecular Expressions
Trippy website time, readers. There’s a picture that zooms in from deep outer space to the molecular structures of a leaf. Fun to watch, and makes you think about the concept of space.
Fantastic Contraption
A great webgame where you have to move the ball into the right spot using different rods, wheels, etc. Very physics-oriented, and very challenging too. There are lots of levels to defeat. Overall a very fun webgame.
Whiteboard Stop Motion
A very interesting way to animate:
Well, that’s it for week 10 of Websites to Waste Your Week. I hope these links keep you entertained at work – keep an eye out for the boss, though.

Obsessing over drama on Ubersite is my life. All other priorities (job, family, health) take a back seat.

Being a gay man, I find Ubersite to be the perfect forum for relishing in my man-on-man fantasies. Great site.
