How using internet technologies changed my life and can change yours.

The Dawn of a New Era

Of all the technologies available today, the internet is undoubtedly among the most potent and widely used.  From the novice to the expert, all can find some benefit in using the internet’s resources.  The internet has opened up numerous opportunities and endless possibilities for its millions of users that would not have otherwise been available.  So much so that an email address is a fixture whenever contact information is required.

My Story

I am one of the millions of persons for whom the internet has opened a world of opportunities.  I become an avid user of the internet first a pre-teen and then as a teenager into adulthood.  A natural born communicator, enjoying activities such as making music, videos, writing, dancing and teaching among other things, the internet has allowed me to channel all my interests into one place and express them equally.  Through the sites such as facebook, myspace and twitter, I have been able to network, meet persons of like mind and make connections with persons from all areas of interest.

Social Networking

Let’s face it, social networking is hot right now.  It may be a little intimidating for those among us who have heard all the horror stories of what can happen on the interent, from stalking to identity thefts, the risks are many.  However, it must never be understated that the benefits to be had are far reaching.  If you are a business person, an artiste of whatever kind or just your average Joe with something to share with the world, then the many Social Networking tools available on the internet will be of great use to you.  From DIGG, to Facebook to Twitter, you are able to reach out to an audience that may be otherwise far removed from your immediate reality.

Monetizing the Internet – Potential to Earn

Not only a resource for networking, through sites like TRIOND, the internet presents a great opportunity for earning for those persons with varying artistic expressions, products, ideas or concepts that you will want to be able to show the world.  You get to work on your own terms, set your own hours and earn from others who participate in your work through page views and useful commentary.

Yes it takes work, hard work in fact and a lot of effort, but if you are dilligent and consist, then you can benefit from monetizing your blog through showcasing pieces of your original works through posting them on TRIOND.  It is easy to get started as joining TRIOND is free and there are many benefits to be had.

You won’t get rich quick, but you will definately be able to earn a few extra dollars from using TRIOND.  TRIOND is one of the many examples of how the resources of the internet can be tapped to reap real rewards.

Pitfalls

As with most things, there are ups and downs, pros and cons and the internet is no different.  There is a need to be cautious and get used to the culture of the internet as there are many scams out there.  Its is important to avoid programs, products and websites promising endless fortunes and miraculous results for which you have to make a payment using a credit card or divulging personal information that could lead to scam artists ruining your credit or stealing your identity.

The are many articles available that give tips on what to look for to avoid many of these pitfalls.  Many of the same can be had here on TRIOND.  It is important that you read everthing that comes to the forefront of your screen, read the fine print and get second and third opinions if you must.  Read review and see what others have to say before you sign up for anything.

After you have reviewed and gone through all the important factors, and you do decide to go ahead, remember to stay on top of what is happening.  Be sure to move with current trends and continue to tread carefully.

Finally, trust you gut, if that little voice deep down tells you something is wrong, then it probably is and you may want to forego that option.  Remember, when in doubt don’t!

The Next Step

So what have you done lately?  What are your passions?  Can they be translated from being just hobbies to a real way of life through the resource of the internet?  Give it some thought and see what you come with, you may just surprise yourself.
