As I wrote my article entitled “How to Save Your Show: Watch It Online,” it donned on me that might be new and a bit scary for anyone who has never done it before, so I created this list to help you out. Enjoy!

If you do not have a Nielsen’s rating box and want to give your show ratings, watching them online is a great way to do it. Here are some of the best:
- Hulu (http://www.hulu.com/) almost every show on the air is on this website. This website also lets you watch movies free here: (http://www.hulu.com/movies). No download needed
- SurftheChannel – (http://www.surfthechannel.com/) You name the show and you can more than likely find it here on STC. Does not matter if the show is currently showing or cancelled, it is there. Most of the links will take you to a Chinese website, but the shows are all in English. No download needed, but is allowed.
- TV-Video (http://tv-video.net/) has all the latest shows, good for viewing. Also has some movies and a few shows that have been cancelled.
- TIOTI – (http://www.tioti.com/) with well over 2,000 shows to choose from and 90,000 episodes, you will not be bored on this site.
- TVU Player (http://www.football4less.com/streams/tvuplayer.html) the only website on this list that requires a one-time download, but it is worth it.
- Choose and Watch – (http://www.chooseandwatch.com/) ChooseAndWatch.com is a completely free alternative to cable or satellite television and lets you watch TV online in your browser. Channels are indexed in 2 menus: TV BY CATEGORY where there are 269 selected channels indexed into 14 categories and TV BY COUNTRY where there are 3089 channels from 147 countries.
- Channel King – (http://www.channelking.com/) This offers shows from almost every source, television, broadband, cable, etc.
- Free TV (http://www.freetvonline.com/) Lists literally thousands of shows on their website (local and cable) and absolutely no download needed
- FreeTube – (http://freetube.110mb.com/) You can get a family friendly version of this website, which is a great feature for the parents who don’t want to have to worry about covering their kids eyes while waiting for a show to start.
- Streamick –(http://www.streamick.com/index.php) With over 300 real stations, which means live streaming video from your favorite station, like CNN, BBC, etc.
- ABC.com, CBS.com, NBC.com and FOX.com. Miss your favorite show? Check out the website for the station, most allow watching a show online, sometimes will a small delay of a week.
Note: All (but one) these website required no download and was free when I checked them out.
