Many times on the internet, we find ourselves checking the same websites over and over, looking for some new awesome post or interesting link. Here is a great collection of uncommon websites that you may not know about, but they sure offer some very curious stuff.

Why it’s cool: The Civilian Marksmanship Program sells the popular collector weapon the Greatest Generation used to save our arses from Socialism… i.e., the Nazi War Machine. Many kids these days will recognize the durable M1 Garand as a staple of Medal of Honor and Call of Duty games… but here, my friends, is the real deal. Nazi’s not included.

We also know that drunk strip Twister beats the pants off any video game. Unless you’re that guy with the stained underwear on the Internet. Don’t be that guy. Please. BoardGamesExpress offers up over 1000+ board games from mainstream to archaic. It’s a Saturday night with a case of beer heaven site come true.

Why it’s cool: Billed as the Ultimate Resource for Vintage Posters and they’re not kidding around. If you ever wanted to dress up your single room rundown rat infested apartment into a posh upscale bachelor pad to rival any million dollar New York pad start here. The ladies will be impressed. Now you just need those cool thick black frame fake glasses. Don’t worry about your hair. Messy is in.

Why it’s cool: Ptoo! Ptoo! Toy guns were the staple of the 80s. This is the w00t site of them all. The coolest toy guns this side of the Atlantic, kick butt airsoft weapons, tactical gear, and even replica RPGs! Now you can get your Jack Bauer on and save the world all over. Warriors of the backyard unite. It’s time to frag the slow kid. Imagination style.

Why it’s a Bonus: The GreenHead site finds the strangest of the strange on the Internet. It’s always been a must stop for the past couple of years to brainstorm gifts for that person that you’re not quite sure what works better for them…an authentic New York Hot Dog Vendor Cart or a Wine Rack Drink Dispensing Secret Bra Flask. I believe it just links to the cool, strange sites that sell all these mysterious products, so that’s why it got the Bonus mention.

Why it’s Honorable: I take for granted everyone knows the greatest shopping website on Earth. I’m flabbergasted when I get excited and go “w00t!” and no one knows what the hell I’m doing. They think I’m choking on a chicken and not in the way you just imagined you pervert. Woot.com is simply brilliant. One item per day, when it’s gone it’s gone. They have great prices and the items can be refurbished, new or just overstock. You never know. If you don’t have a woot add-in on your Firefox you should really get it. Pretty soon you too can choke on a chicken by shouting “w00t!” during a woot-off.
