This list consists of some of the most useful websites you could find. Everything from storing large files on the Internet to increasing the performance of your computer.

  1. Speed Test

One of the most useful speed test sites out there. Gives you connection speed based on a global positioning system. The website is very interactive and has many useful tips about increasing your speed.

  2. Storage DopBox

For those times that you need to send someone a large file or are storing your own documents for global access, DropBox allows you to create a free account and upload up to 1 GB of storage space, with a 50 mb maximum upload capacity.

  3. eBoostr

The cool thing about Windows vista is that it can use your USB Flash Drive just like your RAM – such a capability is integrated into the OS. Windows XP just can’t use it as additional memory – your flash drive is just a flash drive. Not anymore if you have eBoostr installed. This software program aids XP in using your Flash Drive as a memory device.

  4. Guerilla Mail

This website provides you with temporary email addresses that expire within 15 minutes. For those pesky websites that ask for your email address for verification, but end up sending you a bunch of junk in the process.

  5. Find Sounds

If you are looking for music or any type of audio file to download this is the place to go. Just search the artist, song, and even format of the file, and in just a few seconds you will be listening to the file on your own computer. Have fun!
