Do you blog, do you make websites, do you need to work with Internet a lot? Read this interesting article then.

The ultimate online worker today needs only one single tool, which is the browser and which is the Firefox! While this browser is one of the fastest ones and certainly the best one thanks to all the extensions it has, it can be so much better!

There are many core definitions you can change to make it better. Now why don’t such definitions come already changed? Because the browser must fit every computer and some old machines with less memory might crash if you change some values.

Now there is one tool called Firetune that will make wonders for your browser. With the click of a button you can change all the numbers for the best value. First just make a backup of the definitions, just in case.

the next thing you need to do is to configure your own computer to make Firefox run better. Firefox can use as much as 1.8 GB of RAM. I used to have a screen shot to prove it. If you can add more memory to the computer, if you cannot, just increase the amount of Virtual RAM in the control panel. This way Firefox is able to cache many more pages making future navigation much faster.

Finally it’s time to secure Firefox. Did you know that your computer hard drive is not encrypted and that someone steals it, that person just has to connect the drive to another computer to read anything?

Download True Crypt and create a Container. Then download Portable Firefox and run it only from that container.

This way, when you close the container or shut the computer down, Firefox cache, offline data, bookmarks, passwords and everything related to Firefox will be fully protected!

Now it’s time to work on your computer to make Firefox run faster.

Firefox is a real beast eating CPU resources. It’s easy to have it using more than 50% of the CPU and even easier to see 99% sometimes.

First remove all the programs you do not use anymore. They all like to use some MB of RAM and some % of the CPU. This means removing Star Office, Open Office, Microsoft Office and so on. you have online tools which are as good as these ones are.

The next thing is to remove all the files you do not use. This will free a lot of space to be used as Virtual RAM, and will reduce the size of Windows index, and will reduce the number of the files int he Windows counter and will speed up any hard disk tool you might have such as defragmentation.

Finally the files you still have and need frequently just send them to your email, if you use Gmail then send EVERYTHING there!

Do NOT use GDrive. This tool violates some Google TOS and you can have your account deactivated forever and all your emails lost!

Just use Thunderbird to send all the files easily. Combined with Winzip you can have small files and all stored easily on email. If you need to read them online however, Winzip is not a wise options because makes it necessary to download them before usage.

Ok now just one more word on Firefox and online tools to work.

If you still depend on offline tools to live and to work I must pity you.

They are so slow, so unreliable and so nasty that as soon as you make the switch you will feel like “wow, am I in heaven”?

Cloud computing is the next big and best invention after Internet.
