The Real Deal About Paid Surveys

I have joined a paid survey company: One month into the game and still no payments received.

I have been trying for two months now to access a decent website or “business” rather, to be able to earn money from home. I have a PC, I have typing skills and a knowledgeable background regarding the Internet – yet I cannot get a job on the Internet.

With so many people using the internet nowadays, it should be easier to be able to gain access to companies who are willing to pay individuals to work from home. So, I thought I’d give some companies a chance and paid money to join programmes to be able to gain financial freedom.

It’s obviously not happening. If you type in “Work From Home” in Google – There will be lots of matching items that appear on the pages. The most common work from home opportunities are paid surveys – being paid for your opinion.

I have only been testing the survey system for one month and have not received a single payment yet and as most survey sites advertise that there are people who have been paid within four days of joining – you can imagine my frustration as I am typing away at surveys.

Yes, I am still doing them, because I want to make money – and if this means that I am going to sit at my computer and fill in forms in order to do so – I will do that. Even though, I haven’t been paid – I am trying to get myself a record of being able to fill in forms after which companies might recognize me as a potential survey taker and start paying me for my opinions.

I have received a lot of survey invitations – some entering me into a prize draw and others for which cash rewards are offered but I do not qualify in order to be paid. There are also companies who send e-mails saying “congratulations – you have a won” and then when you go to register with these sites (read small print) you find out that you have to sign up to offers in order to be able to get the “free” stuff, which obviously isn’t really free.

So here I am filling in forms out of my busy schedule with working part-time as an Administrator and working full-time as a mother. Expenses have risen over the years and I want a better lifestyle for my children. I want to take them on holidays and pay for their every little need but every day is a struggle and then you get these internet sites which offer you good money but in actual fact are taking advantage of your bad-luck.

You sit and wonder, “am I a mug?” You then answer – well of course I am, but you’re still filling in forms – because you are desperate to make money. This is my first update on this section – and I will continue to update because you never know I might succeed.

I am in such a boat, where I only see water surrounding me, I cannot see a way to get out and save myself from death except for the idea that I can jump into the water and swim to safety. Risks are involved but I need to take them in order to survive.
