A list of the types of people I see all the time on Triond who are quite annoying.
Let’s cut to the chase. There are some very idiotic, annoying people on Triond. Quite simply, I’m sorry Triond is plagued with people like this when it needs good, real users to light it’s internet social-networking rocket. So, the list:
1. RuneScapers trying to get “free” membership.
The stupid 13 to 16 year olds trying to write interesting topics about RuneScape to pay for their RuneScape memberships are a disease. I mean, wtf?!? I just make cool videos and put them on Blip.tv, it gets me half the advertising revenue, just like Triond, but with something interesting to do rather than write topics about nothing to make some quick cash. And, I don’t do anything I do on the interent for money. It’s because I want to have a venue of displaying my talent, not a get-rich-quick scheme.
2. That racist guy, what’s his name?
Ah yes, Rob Winslow. Seriously, gtfo.
3. Wannabe poets.
Some of them are just GRAND, but most of them just write some stuff that rhymes and put it up here. It’s a waste of all of our times.
4. Plagiarists.
No more copypasta. I’m sick of it. Something bad in the sauce.
5. People who can’t write.
If you can’t spell, you shouldn’t be writing on Triond. I’m sure you’d have much more fun playing with Webkins, or on Club Penguin. On that note, what has happened to the teens of today? I mean, aren’t they taught how to spell at all? Or have we just decided as a global community to just be the fat slobs of the universe?
On the contrary to those people, here’s a list of people I would love to see more of.
1. People who write interesting articles about cool places they’ve traveled to.
I love to see those wonderful pictures of the sunset in Australia that I could probably not find much anywhere else. Speaking of photos…
2. Photographers and Cinematographers posting their work.
I do love a good photoshop picture or a good film or short video.
3. Good poets.
The good ones. Who have meanings to their poems, that might have hidden meanings, that might have hidden meanings. Interesting stuff.
4. Good storytellers.
I like good stories. They can be long thought out plots and complex stories, or short muses by an author wondering if the public might like a whole story.
5. Good reviews.
Now, there is a line I have to draw with some good reviews and bad. If you review something, but aren’t detailed in your process or are just being a fanboy for some brand like Nintendo or Microsoft or Sony. Doesn’t have to be a fanboy with just game systems, but things like being a fanboy for PC or Mac. The list goes on forever. But I do like reviews who review the product, not the company. And review it right.
Well, that’s enough of my rant. I hope this makes some of the people from the first list change their ways.

I just signed up for Triond but think I will be leaving soon. I went to the forums and was disgusted at the types of posting that were, obviously, allowed there. The really unfortunate thing is that I write for other sites as well and will have to, when asked, tell them of this experience thus costing Triond, perhaps a few good writers. What a shame.
