In Online Journalism you upload a story, photo, video and then ask for comments, views and opinions from the reader, viewer. The tools to upload a photo, video, getting comments are all Web 2.0 tools.
When online Journalism started in late 90’s it used Web 1.0 tools, which allowed only text on the internet, but after the Web 2.0 has arrived, one can use text, pictures, video to convey to any person.
So it is said that Web 2.0 and Online Journalism is two side of same coin.
