February, of the year 2000 is where my guide will start. This was year that neopets was first created and not long after became a pay 2 play site as well. Not long after its birth, Neopets became immensely popular drawing crowds and people of all ages. This website is not only fun, but some say it is educational due to the fact that you have to really work to earn neopoints(money) and their own simulated stockmarket. As you raise your pets’ levels such as attack, strength (etc), you can paint them different colors, build them a house, and even create your own shop.

All of these things are based on your amount of neopints you are carrying and the most common way to make neopoints is by playing games. Some games have highscore tables like Whack a Kass whereas games like Cheat give trophies once you pass a certain level.

As this fun site has brought many happy memories to some people it has also corrupted many, watch your back or you may to turn into someone you don’t want to be.
