Some of the websites say you have to give the original artist credit to use their content, but that’s right and proper to do anyways.

    A short personal link list, but interesting nonetheless. One of the links lead to a very interesting illustrated guide on how to destroy your computer. Destroying a computer? Blasphemy!

31. Michael Panda Links

    I don’t know who Michael Panda is, but he sure has an interesting list about Japan & Japanese culture. He has quite a few favorite blogs too, so give some of those a visit. There’s also a couple of lists about technology & computers.

    Mike must be one busy activist because his list is all about “stickin’ it to The Man”. Activism can be defined as a lot of people loudly complaining in public while carrying signs bearing bad slogans in even worse handwriting. Ha! Ha! Ha! Sorry, activists. All jokes aside, if you want to see what’s going on in the alternative media, give this website a visit.

    Seeing how big this list is draws one to the conclusion that Niall likes a lot of things. Although TV seems to be hated on this site, as it is referred to as “mutant enemy television.” With a whole bunch of links below that declaration to websites about TV shows, of course.     “A simple list of the best free and open-source software for Windows”. This is a very handy site because the links go directly to the download page of each popular application. This is a two-page list, so click on the “more software” link towards the bottom.

    Over 480 links to open source applications. Project management, desktop environments, and PDF tools are just three of the categories in this huge and very impressive list. At the bottom of the article is a yet another list of links to even more lists of links.. of lists… links… er, sorry.

37. Other Interesting Links

    From hi-beam.net comes a big hyperlink list about alternative film and media. If you’re an “indie” film-maker, you’ll appreciate this website quite a lot. There’s also a list of webpages where film equipment is sold, too.

38. PistolWimp

    Interesting name for a website, but it doesn’t wimp out on the videos. They say they have over 8000 videos; click on the “All Files” link that’s a bit hidden on the right side of the webpage and you’ll get to them all. Happy viewing!

39. Pointless Sites

    This website refers to itself as “the definitive place for perfectly pointless websites”, and they make a very good claim for that title. You will get to more lists through the directory on the left, all filled with perfectly pointless links, of course.

40. Steve Goodman

    Mr. Goodman has some wacky links at his site. Going through his list of favorite websites is an enjoyable experience since they go to all sorts of unusual websites. Pulp fiction, The Church of the SubGenius, Fear & Loathing…. this list has some very odd categories.

41. Submit URL

    A huge list of links, mostly to directories and blogs. There must be over a thousand links here! Give it a look-through, maybe you’ll find an interesting person’s life to read about on their blog.

42. The Scrutinizer

    This isn’t a list of websites, but a list of online tools. For example, if you’re looking for a particular font and know the name of it, there is a font search engine bar here. There are also IP and URL tools as well. Short list, but included because it has some handy online apps.

    Need to know what’s buzzing in the popular social networking sites? This list is made up of newsfeeds from digg, metafilter, and stumbleupon, just to name a very few. This is an excellent website for keeping updated on what’s new on the Internet every day. This website even includes links to popular YouTube videos.

44. Top 100 Downloads of Free Software & Freeware for Windows

    The name of this website is misleading because there are actually over 500 links to useful free software here. But the webmasters explain that they don’t want to change the site’s URL whenever the list grows. Good reason! Software is very easily downloaded through this website, too.

45. The Great Software List

    More free software! With all the excellent shareware and freeware available these days, it is amazing people still pay for software. There are some Linux links here, as well as applications for Windows.

    If you need to learn anything about CSS scripting, this is the place for you. Easily over a hundred links to CSS tutorials, tools, and bug fixes. A very thorough directory of CSS knowledge!

47. Website Tips

    Here is a great list for you web content writers. Speaking as a web content writer, this author has read many of the articles found through this site, and all of them were very informative. It can often be hard to find good tips on effective web content writing, so this list is very helpful for writers who publish their work on the Internet.

    Yes, there is much web weirdness here. You will have to click through the number directory on the left to get to the lists, and there’s eighty-seven of them! If you can’t find something weird through this website’s lists, there must be something weird with you.

    Speaking of weird, here’s a list of websites about weird science. If you’re working on a perpetual motion machine, cold fusion, or anti-gravity technology, this is the place for you. You are inventing cold fusion, right?

    Maybe wimp in name, but certainly not in nature. This website is a massive list of online videos to watch. There are funny pictures, audio and Flash games too, but you’ll have to scroll quite a bit to the bottom of the page to get to them.
