Why destructive?

Using Internet could be useful yet if not used the proper way, destructive. We can gather almost any type of information in the World Wide Web which is a great ease for us and our pockets. We don’t have to spend big amounts for books or references. With Internet, everything is just a click away. We even get videos to watch and music to download. Having this oppotunity to learn online, we have to maximize its benefits and understand every data we’ve had. But it seems like a trend now to just copy and paste the information without further reading. Thus, corrupts the process of active thinking and expressing the searched data in our own way. It turns out to be merely copying and piracy of other’s work which is bad and unacceptable. The Internet should be only a help for us and not totally taking over our state of mind.

Like every new invention, the Internet can be used for good or evil. And sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.

A well written, and informative article. I agree totally that the internet is a very useful tool for finding information on a wide variety of topics, but it must be used wisely and properly. Otherwise it can become a disfunctional tool.

I know people do copy the work of others which is not a moral thing to do, but I think the advantages of using the internet far outweigh the disadvantages. You have made valuable points here. Well done.

Like with just about everything, the internet does have two sides! I’ve never been more grateful to have it though! Good article, enjoyed reading!

It can be used for good or can lead to ignorance.

Hello Jane Jane.
First of all I would like to thank you for reading my article, Beyond The Mirage of The Alluring Programs on The Internet, and putting your comment thereat.
As for your opinions about the Internet, I’m of the firm view that the utilization of the Internet only for cosmetic purposes has made it dangerous for the entire human civilization. Otherwise, it is more useful than what we know, or read about! Not even the Nuclear Arsenals can match it’s potentialities!
Thanks, once again.

The internet is very positive and useful to useful and positive people that use it as a tool. those that use the internet to demolish or demean or disembowel probably have no other meaningful deminsions to thier life and or therfore consumed by the internet entity (whew)
thought provoking article—–thnx

So true, and it only seems to be getting worse. People who don’t create content can make money so easily from other people’s content there’s little incentive to take the time to assess or improve anything.

Internet is just like life, good and bad.
There is no morality on the internet.
It’s a virtual world where the ‘rules’ are man made reflections of our everyday lives.http://writinghood.com/online-writing/triond-makes-friends-with-bukisa/
