Craigslist.com is basically an online flea market where individuals and groups alike can advertise jobs, gigs, items for sale or wanted, put ads for free items, sell or buy used cars, and much more. First off, you’ll need to make a craigslist account. Simply click sign up and give the required information. You will also want to set the website on your computer to the city in its database closest to you. That is the default city it will search in when you search for things or post new ads. It will also search in surrounding areas close to it. To do this, simply look at the list of states and countries to the far left of the homepage, and click the one you live in. It will then give you a list of cities. Once you’ve set up an acount, you will be sent a confirmation email to the email account you registerred to it. Once you’ve set up the account, it’s time to start posting ads! Simply click the icon in the top right of the web page to choose from a verry large list of cities. Click the one you want to post the ad in and then hit go. It will then rout you to a series of categories to place your ad in. Choose the ones that apply best, and then write a description for your ad. You can also put up to 4 pictures with your ad. To do so, click add/edit images and four slots will open up. Then hit browse under the slot you want to fill and select the picture from within your computer’s hard drive you want to post with it. If it is a very large picture, you may want to consider reducing the size of it with a photo editor program. When you are done, simply click post ad.
