1. Sign up with Yola at www.yola.com.  You will go straight onto making your first site, just fill out what you want your site to be called etc, then click the button to start building your site!
2. How this site builder works.  You drag content from the right hand site into the “drag content here” box until you see a green line where you want the content to appear.  So try dragging the “text” from the right sidebar over the “drag content here” box  until you see a green line appear, then let go.  A text box will appear that you can start writing on!  You can change the size, font etc of the text on the bar above when typing your text. Images are much the same, just drag the “image” icon from the right sidebar onto the text.  You will need to select an image to upload from your computer or buy one from iStock photo (iStock photo costs money).  
3.  If you want to have to content items side by side then drag in the “Two Column layout” from the right sidebar.  
4. When your ready to publish your site click the “save” button up the top of the window.  Then click the “Publish my site” button.  (If there is a “Update my site button” instead click that, wait about ten seconds then your site is on the web!)  However if you have a “Publish my site” button click on it, then choose a free sub domain, hit the next button and your site is on the web!

If you want to add more pages then click the “New Page” button to make a new page.  Remember, when you make more changes to your site you will need to click the “Update my site” button for others to be able to see it.
