For those of you who just want to learn how to do it skip Vuze or utorrent link (scroll down). Although it is suggested to read this to get a broader understanding, but it is not necessary.  

OK then to start i will explain how to this works. A torrent is a link file that can be read by certain program like, Utorrent or Vuze (formally Azureus) henceforth. Anyway what it does is it allows people to share there files.      So for instance if i would have a movie on my computer i could make a torrent link to it and then send it to you.  I would upload it to you and their is NO MAXIMUM. I have personally download a single torrent witch was over   30GB. Anyway as I’m sure you guessed if you have ten people downloading and one person uploading, it would take ages. So the program (like Vuze or utorrent) has a feature that as you download you also upload, and when you finish you continue uploading so even if your downloading a torrent witch is over 10GB, as long as people are uploading you’ll get it done in no time (of course you have to have a fast download speed).

To start I’ll give a brief summary of two programs to use.                                                                                       (They are the most popular ones and i my opinion also the two best).

 This program is light weight, very small (under 1MB) and a whole lot of features. So if you have a slow or old computer utorrent is the way to go. I have used utorrent for almost two years. Next is Vuze{this is a link.

This program, in my opinion is the most powerful one (it is the one I use). I have gotten a 3MB per a scened   download rate. Although this incredible speed comes at a price, it requires, a good computer not great but decent.
