Getting a free wiki is a great way to get organized and to plan out your ideas and events to help eliminate some of the stress that results from being un-organized.

Many wiki sites give out free wikis, but from my experience, YourWiki has some of the best free wikis available.  Their wikis have very few ads on them and there very easy to use and navigate and they use the same layout that the popular website Wikipedia does and because of that I will talk about how to get a free wiki from YourWiki.

In order to get a wiki from YourWiki, you first need to go to their main wiki page and then create an account which takes only a few seconds and requires no personal information, or if you have an openid, then you can log in using that.

Once you’re logged in, then you can go to a page where you request that a wiki be created for you and click the button at the top of the page that says “Post Wiki Request”.

Then you will be shown a text editing screen where you can type some info about the wiki you want.  For the type of wiki you want, be sure to say you want a “Personal Wiki” and then you can chose a sub domain for your wiki (yourwikiname.yourwiki.net) and after you fill in the rest of the information, then if all goes well a wiki will be created for you and then you now have your own personal Wikipedia which you can use for whatever you wish!  Wikis are a great way to get organized, and they are also a great way to communicate your ideas/opinions to the world!  They are easy to set up and use, and they truly do help with getting organized!
