Five Blackberry apps that can be downloaded for free from the Blackberry App World.

Quick Pull is an app that tricks your phone into thinking that you’ve pulled the battery to erase the phones memory. You can perform this by click the app and selecting yes or you can schedule the app to run by itself whenever you like. One of the true set backs of the is the lack of memory for apps. With Quick Pull you can free up the memory whenever you like.
Pandora is a music app that lets you create stations based on genre or specific artists, then allows you to decide if you like it or dislike it. Using the Music Genome Project it picks new songs and artists based on rhythm, lyrics, language, etc… after you choose which songs you like. I found this app to be an awesome way to remember songs I had forgotten I loved.
Xenozu allows you to watch YouTube videos on your phone. It allows you to search by top rated videos, most viewed, most recent. You can also look up videos by typing what you’re looking for into the search bar. If you do find one you like you can bookmark it to come back and watching it again later. I find it’s a useful app if you have time to kill and nothing to do.
Opera Mini allows you to access the Internet in it’s full glory instead of the watered down mobile Internet that that comes with most cell phones. You can sign into sites, post on forums, access personal accounts, the same way you would from your personal PC. It has an easy interface and a zoom in feature that lets you see and read everything on a web page. It’s the one app that really lets you your Blackberry live up to expectations.

Yahoo finally came out with a Messenger app that acts just like the one on your PC. You get live updates of who’s on instead of having to refresh it the you did with Mobile IM. Also you get to see your friends pictures as well as all of your incoming and out going messages will show up under your message icon. You can edit your nickname, appear offline, create friend groups just like in their PC version.
