Web Talk

Discusses sites that take the authors time and also give a sort of income whether people accept it or not.

Before I start, someone close by asked: What do you with your time on the net? I simply said things that give me income. But Gab, I have never heard you say you have gotten money from any website. I smiled. Money or income comes in plenty forms – social, psychological and even financial. The psychological and financial income been the general two. And this is according to section 1. Chapter 1 a of you are reading my stuff and you have to accept that! Enough lecturing. Let’s discuss what will take a naughty human’s time…

  1. Google Earth: This is what I call social income. Imagine how many friends trip over each other in my room to see the downloaded version on my system. Why will people trip over a software that shows the top elevation of everybody’s house even the white house on this earth… Wait till I tell you how I got to see the Korean site for nuclear weapons when googles posted a picture of it. Plus this is free to download.
  2. Geocities: The day a lady asked me to design a site for her free and host it was a day I cursed (kidding I rejoiced) knowing how to design sites. With this place you can blog, or even get your domain at a price I wont want my competitors to read for free. Instructions and templates make it quite easy but the free means you still get to use yahoo ads…oops. But still this is what I chance to gain financial income and …do you know a company that wants a new website.
  3. Download: A part of cnet online publishers…I get kicks, treat, psycho and even psychological to financial income from entering here. Why? imagine where you get to download the latest game though demos…test antivirus soft wares and get the latest jist on almost any software you can imagine. Pity the friend of mine who pays me a visit to discuss with me about the latest antivirus or media ware after I’ve had a little browsing from here.
  4. Wikipedia: Here is where I say it doesn’t pay to be a volunteer except you want the world to be a better or knowledgeable place. Pure psychological income! Still it takes my time such that I’m yet to submit any information. Yes, it’s a net encyclopedia but can be edited by anybody and still needs more knowledge added to it by people like YOU. It’s a nice place for people to check up on issues and stuff. If you search and cant find something when you do please remind to pass it over to this site…Hmm no income?
  5. E-gold: People who know this site will wonder why mention a place that is just a payment solution area. So it does what ebullion, paypal and mastercard could do…Do you know the price of gold rises and falls? How about trading in internet currency backed by real gold. Really I get to check the price of gold any time I come here so I can…

Now tell me what kind of income do you get from the internet? What really do you do with your surfing time?

Forget me, it doesn’t have to be income, I just made those income terms to avoid people thinking that the only thing I do with the internet is check my email. Of course I use it on old people who can’t understand why people browse. So now what have I gained by writing this?
