Ever wondered about the bad part of Triond? We give you the disadvantages of using Triond.
So you think you are an anti Triond-er? Well, good news, we provide some very well hidden facts of triond and it’s “evil” side so that it is revealed to you all!
- Low earnings for those people “not used” to writing articles. Writing articles is one major step towards freelance writing. You get to develop your writing skills and if you are that professional, you may even get to write for newspaper articles. However, writing articles are quite a big task for those not proficient in English and may not suite you. Even if you could write one, you may only just make pennies due to your writing quality.
- No referral payments. Unlike Associated content and Helium, both article publishing sites, triond does not pay users for referring others to the site. Thus making it difficult for those hoping to make extra money. So say bye-bye to extra income.
- No already-published articles. This is a headache for all those who loves copying or merely taking down the information from a published article. Many writers are thus discouraged from writing on triond because of the less variety of articles to write and less topics to write about.
- The rejection of “innocent” articles. How many of you have articles which are never rejected? Of course there are at least 9 in 10 triond users with rejected articles. This is very annoying especially if you worked painstakingly on an article just to get rejected! What’s more, they are for minor reasons such as “Please provide a fresh content so as to ensure your article doesn’t get lost in the crowd”. This is ridiculous!
- Messy User Interface- With the addition of visit trends and top referring sites along with earnings overview, Triond’s news, quick actions, friends news and latest messages all cramped up into a little page, you can imagine how messy it is. And yes, it is certainly not attractive!
There we have it. So the next time you write on Triond, think twice. You could probably make more money off that article which took you almost a year to complete.

It is my hope that mine isn’t the only honest review you will receive on this article. I completely disagree with it. Triond is not a site to “make a lot of money.” It is a site for honing your skills as a writer, the money is just a perk. Also, You could be the best writer in the world and publish an article on Triond and not receive any earnings. On the other hand, you could be a very poor writer and have a very good earning potential. Why is this? Promotion. If you don’t know how to promote you articles OUTSIDE of Triond then, yes, you will earn only pennies. This whole have your friends read it and then have them have their friends read it method of promotion is not very effective at all. Trust me on this. You need to post your links on social netwroking sites, submit to search engines and post your link on forums that are congruent with the subject of the article are just a few. The only point of this article that I slightly agree with is the possibility of having an article rejected. The only time I have ever had an article rejected was when I tried to post duplicate content that I had already published on another site and that was just to see if it would actually be rejected. So, I was pretty much expecting it. I actually believe that Triond utilizes an automated editorial process, which could be the cause of some rejections. However, I believe if you resubmit or even submit a fix on an article, an actual person does look at it at that point. These are just my opinions based off of mine and many others experience with Triond. I hope it helps you to change your perception of how all of this actually works and therefore keeps you from leading new writers down the wrong path with misinformation.

Obviously webupon doesn’t check their submissions. I would think that you would prefer to accept criticism so you can improve your work.
Way to go Triond!

in all honesty the majority of us trionders are here more for the sake of writing than making money from oour writing and in all honest if it were not for the fact that i wanted this to be posted as a comment instead of just in the room where it will only last a few hours then the topic will not be up for people to see. if you do not care for triond take your nonsense elsewhere and leave the rest of us be in peace.

Are we writing for the same publisher? I love Triond. The pay is small, but nice and steady; no bells and whistles to keep track of. The viewing trend chart helps me track my successes, and my friends feedback bolsters up my sagging ego. Oh…and I’ve only had two articles rejected ever. One because I accidentally submitted the same thing twice, and one because my quotations were over the legal limit.
