Five Internet Downloads You Should Have On Your PC for fun and safety.
-
Real Desktop
Available for windows XP and Vista. This program has a new back ground,
it makes all your icons 3D. Your recycle bin turns into a garbage basket so you can
pick up your icons and throw them away if you want. You have the ability to throw
your icons around and pick them up or rotate them. This is my favorite program.

Thoosje Side Bar V2.3
This is a side panel that can have many kinds of gadgets on it,
including; clock with different colored skins, music player, weather bar, run program bar,
battery power gage, search engine, text reminder, calender, time, incoming transfer gadget, Torrent search, wireless connection strength gadget, calculator, system
uptime gadget, mail gadget, picture slider gadget, and recycle bin gadget. This sidebar can
have multiple skins.
-
AOL Instant Messenger
This messenger can do it all. Send text messages, pictures,
and videos, or files. You can play games online with your friends. You can have all kinds of
different smile faces, backgrounds, and special effects. View your friends profiles and upload your pictures.
This messenger can do anything, you name it, it can do it. To download this messenger go to www.AIM.com.

Avast Anti-Virus
This is a very good system for regular online users. It is totally free
and it works better than most virus scanners. It automatically updates its virus database every
day for maximum protection. I use this program and I never had virus problems, and I use the internet
more than most people. This program is a must for internet users who cant afford a anti virus program.
You can get this program free!

Line Rider
This is a very fun and addicting game. What you do is you draw a line however you want and a
little guy on a sled rides them. If you know what you are doing you can make jumps, loops, half pipes, and
much more. Be careful when you make your lines, a sudden huge bump in the line can make line rider flip and crash.
This game is free to play and download.

1. Real Desktop
I don’t know why people are crazy over this.. it makes the desktop look a million times better, but after a while for (people who put stuff on their desktop besides shortcuts, at least), its gets SUPER cluttered and messy. seriously.
2. Sidebar
You’re better off using google desktop/yahoo widgets.
3. AIM messenging
Any im program can do that.
4. Avast Anti-virus
Thats good considering its free, but if i were you I’d get Norton.
5. Line rider
Thats just a simple flash game! Sure its fun for while, like any other good flash game, but its just a flash game..

Avast is the best Antivirus solution I have ever come across. I have been using it for more than 2 years now and have not had any kind of trouble due to viruses, etc. Its light on resources, fast in updating, and FREE!
If I were you, “Jesus C”, I’d go for NOD32 antivirus. Norton literally eats up your system!

1. Real Desktop.
If you want all sorts of flash for your desktop get rid of Windows switch to a linux distro. Ubuntu is the easiest.
2. Side Bar
side bars are ok, but they eat up procesing power. Ubuntu Has widgets. Just as good.
3. AOL messenger? WHY?
Pidgin Is a Multi platform interface with the ability to use any account that you may have,
4. Avast
4.1 If you use a linux distro you do not need an antivirus software.
4.2 If you are a sad sap still in windows i recommend AVG. It is fast and secure. And FREE!!!!
5. I wont even start into flash games they are really and truly a waste of time when you coud be playing more sophisticated games.

I have used avast and AVG and found that AVG would not let some of the links through in E mails. So I switched back to Avast. It is the best free virus I have found.
