Do you use Search Engines? Yes? That’s fine, we all can’t be without Google, Yahoo, Bing and all the favorite little helpers on the Internet. But what if you have a real question?
Do you use Search Engines? Yes? That’s fine, we all can’t be without Google, Yahoo, Bing and all the favorite little helpers on the Internet. But what if you have a real question? Sure, Google will help you if you type “how can I?”
But how about asking real people? Where do I find a Video professional in my home town? Who can recommend somebody to make me a viral youTube video? Search engines have limited value here, because they can only find what’s already out there on the Web.
Consider asking a friend! What, you don’t have friends? Ah, no friends with expertise? What about these hundreds of virtual Friends? On Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn? Can’t you ask them?
It’s really a good idea. Just post it on your wall “Who can come and shoot a video of my presentation that I give next Friday in New York?” – Give it a try!
Consider twitter! Send a tweet with the same content. You may be surprised how many replies (and even how many new followers) you will get with a single line like this.
OK. Not really what you like? Just shouting out a random question seems too simple for you? Then try out Aardvark (http://vark.com), this is a specialized service that tries to find a specialist for your answer. Aardvark users have registered with their expertise, so you can be sure to find the video specialist that you are looking for.
Asking one person was the old age, where technology was just being developed. Now you can the whole world with just a single mouse click. Try it out and get surprised by the outcome.
