All notebook/laptop computers are different in many ways. One of these ways is there wireless Internet signal. This can be improved in a number of ways. Improving the signal will give you more networks, stronger connection signals and all together, a faster Internet.

One way to do this is to plug your Ethernet cable into a wireless router and be amazed at the faster speed. to do this make sure that the wireless router is on and working properly. Next, you should plug one end of the Ethernet cable into a port on the router and the other end into your computer. Note: the Ethernet cable is not a phone cable, although they do look alike, the phone cable is smaller.

Another way to get a better connection and have more available networks is to:

1. Get a pretty long Ethernet cable and plug one end into your computer
2. Get a cellphone that is on and has a good signal
3. Wrap the other end of the Ethernet cable around your cell phone about five or six times. The tighter you wrap it, the better this will work
4. Depending on your computer, if you open up network connections, you might see your phone listed there and then all you would need to do is click on your phone and enable it, etc.
5. If not, then this is probably already working and you should have a slightly better signal
6. To improve your signal, you can get a large plastic bowl and cover the inside of it with aluminum foil
7. You should then use tape to suspend the phone above the middle of the dish and it will slightly improve your signal. It will act as a satellite dish. It should look like one too.
