Web users are warned to be on the lookout for fake facebook-amazon stores, being developed by a known hacker based in the UK. “so called” Facebook Stores are being created using Amazon Services which are totally legal, but by branding the store front with a facebook logo and web scheme the store looks as though Facebook Developers have launched a new product.

Reports are still trickling in as to if personal information can be obtained from the use of this website but cannot be confirmed, if it is a true threat or just a statement to Facebook and Amazon to increase their security features.

An Interview with the 29 year old hacker revealed that he has done this to show facebook how easily their organization can become compromised, by the use of simple online technologies available to everyone, and that its time for facebook to increase their development in security features used on its website.

“what i have done is not a malicious attack on facebook or amazon, but an example of how easy it is to fool users into re-directing away from a site that they visiting, making them vulnerable to online fraud, this is not just a message to amazon – facebook but a message to all users globally to be fully aware on the internet”

Lets hope that Facebook and Amazon both realize that this can leave them in a very compromising position, if they do not do something to tighten their online security features.
