Recently I got a mail from expertscolumn. It covered four things you can do to increase your earnings from online publishing.

1) Promote your columns on your blogs : Is their first and foremost suggestion. Thank you, but how do I promote my blog, in the first place? SEO, keywords, adwords, links, etc. etc. I’ve heard it all, tried it out too and continue to do so..but till date it’s not really showing in the outcomes for me:(

2) Social Networking & Bookmarking sites: Another way, but less effective one(once again Expertscolumn opinion), is to promote your columns on sites like Facebook, Digg, Twitter, Stumpleupon etc. This method can help bring a sudden burst of traffic to your publications.
3) Community Support: Request other writers to promote your work on their blog/networks and in return promote their work on your blogs/networks. Can produced amazing results! (expertscolumn guarantees).
4) Internal Linking: Last but not the least is to link related articles i.e. if you find that your article resembles with another one of your articles, then you should link the one to the other. However take care that you link them one way only as reciprocal linking might degrade the value of the link in the eyes of the search engines, warns expertscolumn.
Thank you Expertscolumn for all your advice on how you can increase your earning from online publishing. I am trying out all of your suggestions(except maybe not so much point 2 and 3)…Before I go, I was wondering, “when will I get the promised result? How long do I have to wait?
