I am a Net-head.. i admit it!!, i met my partner off the net, i bought my house off the net, i live off the net and haven’t been near a major mall in years.

I bank on the net, i get home loans for my investments etc by on line lenders, i have never even met these people, it is all done over the net. What did i do without the net?

My hobbies were picked up over the net, to give an example of this, i found a Betta forum where all these people talked about their Betta fish.. i have always loved these fish so i fit right in, soon i was importing with the other people show breed Halfmoon Betta’s, then i had my own website thebettashop.com. I have made so many friends from overseas and interstate over the net.

I joined Nutrimetics and have my own account and do my customer base over the net, people just email me with an order and out it goes. I buy all my family’s clothes over the net, i sell them over the net, i bought my car off the net and will be purchasing another one.

Recently i decided to get chooks and i bought the chook house off EBay, then i realised i needed a large aviary around them as my dog is not chook friendly. I bought the mesh for it off EBay at half the price i pay at Bunnings. It was all delivered to my door within the week ready to go.

When we have family catch ups its on Messenger over the net, we simply link it up to the Big screen TV and sit around talking to our interstate family, free of charge.

When we go on holidays it is researched over the net, and while i mention it, thank God for Google Earth and Street view.. how good is that.

The Net has come so far and all those Geniuses out there that keep thinking of different ways to add to it.

I pity those that do not utilise it or are sceptical about it because they miss out so much. Kids take to it, oldies take to it, life has become so connected with it that a week without it is simply really difficult.
