How Google is swallowing the Web, and Webgoers.

Google is the website that roughly 50% of web goers utilize as their initial gateway into the World Wide Web, and ask upon it to fulfill their inquisitive needs. Comparable to someone such as me, the plethora of products & services Google offers, most of them free, is some of the most useful works you will find on the web today. How can you get the most out of the web without Google at your side, holding your hand, and helping to show you where to go, and how to get there? Besides, the Google database is not the easiest to get into for web designers, and once you are in, you have to keep your updating a regular occurrence, and correlating content in order to keep within the boundaries of their guidelines.

OK, so now your wondering, “what does this have to do with Google controlling the web?” Well, if you think about it, the technologically controlled world runs almost impairing on the web. The web has almost single handedly dismantled the music business. It has helped people leave their corporate careers, and enabled them to start their own businesses out of their homes. Whether they are authors attempting to get published, Doctors with medicines to be sold, or a musician with an album to sell, it can be done on the web. Not only can it be done on the web, but you are almost guaranteed to find a way to do these things for free. With that, where can you go in the web without seeing that cute little Google insignia on roughly 80% of the pages you surf. Whether it is their
adsense
, search bar, or website sponsorship, Google has their hand in it. Not only that, but they hand all the small guys the abilities to publish, promote, and make money. Amazing.

Although Google has developed into a gateway to the web, as time passes, the corporation is engulfing everything in their path. Now, you can create and publish web pages, documents. You can use email, webmaster, manage photos, blog, etc. all through Google’s services. Not only can you do these things with Google, but they are also some of the best quality services available right now. From Blogger, to
YouTube
, to
Gmail
, Google will not let you forget just how far their online empire reaches.

But what is so terrific is that the software they develop, and services they create are some of the best you will ever use, from
Picasa
, to Google Apps, or just simply Gmail, Google has such useful assets that you can only imagine what they will keep coming out with. We can only hope that the person in the driving seat of this Web Mogul is a compassionate individual, because the power possessed by this corporation is more than I can fathom. I am very grateful for the services Google has offered us, and I hope they keep formulating their works to become even more fantastic and cutting edge then ever before.
