These are some tips for safe buying on eBay.

1. Check the sellers feedback.

The feedback is probably the most helpful thing that helps you buy. A feedback rating of 95% is considered good, 98% is very good and 100% is obviously perfect.

Warning: 100% might be perfect but if the user has only sold one item or a few items and has received 100% feedback they could still be suspicious. Always try to buy from sellers with many sales and with little negative feedback.

Always check the : Feedback Score, Recent Feedback, Feedback for your item and Positive feedback percentage.

2. Payment.

I recommend you only ever pay by PayPal as your are insured (conditions apply) up to $20000. It is also much safer than a credit card or any other method of payment.

3. Item.

Check the Item description and contact seller about any questions. Remember to scan description carefully so you know what your paying for. Always look at images as well. A seller with no or one image is probably selling a damages/faulty item that is poor quality. This might also suggest that the item is not new.

4. Price.

Check the price to see if its too good to be true. If you probably win a LCD TV for $1, the seller is probably not going to give you the item and come up with a excuse. Always check the price and try to offer a higher price to the seller if the price is just too low.

That is all, use these tips to be safe on eBay. If at any time you have trouble or encounter a fraud. Tell eBay customer support so they can help you.

The End.
