Government is always responsible for facilities and infrastructure. It only provides necessary services such as electricity and water. Traditional form of governance includes many services for which people will have to stand in a long queue to pay their bills or taxes. But the emergence of computing and internet has changed the whole scenario of service bill and tax payments. Now the long queue has gone because of e-payment. People need not stand in a long queue to pay their bills. Instead they can use government website to file their tax returns or service bill payments. Credit cards play a vital role in the E-Governance and E-Payment. This article covers the basics of E-Governance.

E-Payment

But many peoples are concerned about online payments. They feel it is insecure to pay money through online. This is a big worry as far as the growth of the E-Governance is concerned. Many online scams and frauds are increasing day by day. It makes people feel insecure to risk their valuable money through online payments. Many secure online payments systems are available by using which peoples can pay their money securely and safely. But all these methods calls for basic knowledge of computers and internet. As many peoples are still not using internet and computers. The implementations of these schemes are not widely spread because of this limitation.

Summary

On the whole E-Governance provides much better administration. People can also save their precious time. To implement E-Governance to its full extent now many countries are trying to educate their people to use computers and internet.
