A Visit to The Triond Forums

If you pay a visit to the Triond forums you might be surprised by what you can learn.

On any given day a visit to Triond’s forums can be an educational experience, though admittedly not necessarily the type of education you had in mind.

They are however an interesting place to visit from time to time, and there is a lot going on there. Some interesting, some amusing, and yes, some downright disgusting. But educational all the same.

Being past my youth and not as computer literate as the younger generation it was quite interesting to learn what a troll was. ( And here I thought they were those ugly little people with the bad hair who lived under bridges! )

I also learned about 100 different ways to spam and just how much ridicule a spammers brings down on themselves. What I haven’t yet figured out is why anyone would want to spam in the first place.

I have also learned that it is not only a good place to join in a stimulating debate but to take part in mud slinging and name calling matches and to allow our most childish sides to show.

Despite all that it is an incredibly helpful place.

It is a great place for new members to introduce themselves. Though I would advise you to keep your first introduction brief, and not try to get anyone to read your newly published article.

It is also a terrific place to ask a question and get advice. And trust me everyone is willing to give advice.

There are threads to help you improve your writing, threads to make you think, and threads just to enjoy some lighthearted banter.

There are threads offering new ideas, old ideas, and no ideas at all.

Triond forums are a great place to be if you are down to earth, off the wall, or beside yourself.

They are an interesting mix of the serious minded, the not so serious, and downright crazies. You never know what or who you will find putting their two cents in on any topic. Which is in and of itself quite amusing since so many people on the forum’s lament that they have not yet made 2 cents.

You can find jokes, trivia and personal information if you spend enough time visiting the forums.

You can make new friends here, and potentially lose a few old ones.

It is in fact, a wonderful and vibrant cross mix of all the personalities that make up this wonderful site called Triond.

And they are for all their faults a vital part of the Triond community.

I hardly ever participate in the forums although I have heard loads about them. This article does say some nice things about them there so it might be worth a check. Good stuff!
