10 useful free web tools for people from all walks of life.
Don’t have the money to buy your favourite magazines. Now you can read them online. Mygazines brings you a wide range of popular magazines online. It is an extremely useful web tool. Suppose your friend want to see some of the pictures which you took last day at the party. So you compress it with a zip software like winzip or winrar and send it to your friend. But unfortunately your friend does not have the software installed on his system. No need to worry. As him to go to wobzip website and point to the file (or url) in your system and wobzip will automatically uncompress the file for him. When I visited the site, it supported the following zip types. RAR , GZIP, 7z, ZIP, BZIP2, TAR, CAB, ISO, ARJ, LZHCHM, Z, CPIO, RPM, DEB and NSIS.
Cligs is a URL shortening service that provides you access to detailed traffic statistics of your short URLs. If you want to see how many people are visiting your URL, then you can use this service an create a shorter URL for your original long URL. For example here is the link to one of my article regarding 10 life changing websites. The actual link to the website is http://www.webupon.com/Web-Talk/10-Life-Changing-Websites-and-Best-RSS-Feeds.76310. Yes, it is a very long URL. But I went to cligs website and converted the above url to this http://cli.gs/YpL5Zu. Now, if you click this link, you will be redirected to the same site. There are lots of websites offering services to shorten the URLs but I haven’t seen many which will give you detailed statistics like cligs do. So, if you are a publisher, or if you want to see how many people are accessing your page from a particular media, then Cligs is the one you should use. Within an account, you can create an as many cligs as you like, with an unlimited number of cligs pointing to the same destination URL.

Yotify works by delivering specific information at a frequency the user sets forth beforehand and as per his convenience. FeedMyInbox is a very simple online service that bridge the gap between RSS XML OR ATOM feeds and email. According to a study only 3% of computer users are familiar with how feeds actually work, and are using feed readers like bloglines to get up-to-date information from their favorite sites. Feed my inbox makes the reading of feeds one step easier by redirecting them to your mails. So every day while checking your mails, you have the convenience of reading all new articles published in your favorite websites. It is again a free service.
