Great for people who don’t have the time or skills to play around with Photoshop.
Have you ever wanted cool logos, effects for your images, etc. but thought they were out of your reach as you don’t have the skills, didn’t have the time to play around or didn’t have photoshop or any photo editiing software.
You don’t have to worry, there are loads of free image generators out there on the net. They can do everything from rounding the corners of your images, generate effects or you could even come up with great logos. Here are some of my favourite generators on the web and best of all, all of them are FREE:
1. Image reflection generator
If you take a look at the logo of various Web 2 sites online, one of the most common feature is to have a reflection below the logo as if the image was placed on a reflective surface.
You can have it too for your logo for free. Just go over to the Image reflection generator site. You can either specify the url or upload the image (Max 200Kb only). Choose the reflection size and the background colour. Click the “generate” button and you are done.
2. Rounded corners for your pics
Have you ever wanted to have rounded corners for your digital photographs but couldn’t because you have no idea how Photoshop works or don’t have the software. Go over to the RoundPic site, upload your image and you automatically have your pics with rounded corners, which you can download and use. The maximum size of the pic is 1 Mb – the only limitation.
3. Web 2 button generator
To generate Web 2 style buttons in just a few steps, check out the “My Cool Button” site. You can choose the shape, colour, text font, text size and whether you want to put an icon in and you are done.
4. Boxes with rounded corner generator
There are so many ways to put up boxes with rounded corners but the best is to use CSS with images.
The best and the most easiest is RoundedCornr. You have the option of a Basic box, boxes with a colour gradient, with border or one with several options. All you have to do is decide the colour, corner radius, etc. Press the “CreateRoundedCornr” and you will have the code and associated graphics ready for download.
5. Free logo generator
Create cool logos for free on the Cool Text website. In just a few clicks, you can have a brand new logo.
First you choose the Logo Style which takes you to another page where you can customise the text, size, colour, etc. Hit the “Render Logo” button and you are done.
6. Generate your QR Code
The QR Code is a matrix code (or two-dimensional bar code)and was developed by Denso-Wave, a Japanese company in 1994. The “QR” stands for “Quick Response” and is considered by many to be an improvement to the old bar code because it can be decoded at high speed.
Go over to Kaywa.com to get own QR code. Here is the QR code for my website Adamok.net:
<a href=”http://www.flickr.com/photos/ahoklah/4004365795/” title=”qrcode by Adam Mutum, on Flickr”><img src=”http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2612/4004365795_ce841624b5_o.png” width=”248″ height=”248″ alt=”qrcode” /></a>
Now all you need is a little bit of creativity and I am sure you will have lot of fun.
