Web Design

This photo album is called Animated Reflections. It was created by taking different images an combining them into one animation. There is several examples of this animation style with the orignal digital artwork used to make them.

Animated Reflections is digital artwork, it was created by taking an ordinary photo of the sky and adding effects to it. As I was making it, I’d save it as a different image. Then I took those images and put them together an made an animated .gif Now You could use more images, an create a really neat graphic for Your website, that not to many People will have. You could take Your art an turn them into a moving gallery or maybe the products Your trying to sell. There is endless possibilities for the use of Your digital art. Update that drab 2d logo with an animated one. Make Your website more appealing an professional to Your visitors. The list goes on and on.

Animated Spin :This used a total of 8 digital images, to get it to rotate 360 degrees. The more images You add the smoother the rotation will  be. The  back ground I used is white, but if You want to make it match Your web sites back ground, take a screen shot (ctrl + prt scre) of the spot the graphic will be. The software Your using should have a layers function, add the screen shot to the 2ndlayer. So when the animated graphic rotates, You will see Your websites back ground.

Animated Vortex Spiral:The spiral uses several effects an a total of four images. The first image in the animated gif. is the original, the second is of the distortion which starts the spiral, like the animated spin, more images will create a better spiral. The third image there is a distinct inverted spiral, and finally a full spin in the image collapsing into the center of the image.

Animation can add a whole new look of professionalism to Your web site, logo or art. The above animations were made using free software, there is no need to buy, when there is hundreds of free programs that will take a lot of work out of making digital artwork for Your site. I used the following software Paintnet – to edit my images, and GICKR’s free .gif maker – to string the images along in a continuous animation.

It’s really all about being creative, if You really think out what You want the animation to do before You start making it, You will end up with a Very nice animation. Your possibilities are endless, combinations an effects can add new life to Your photos an images. Using a good software will help a lot. Using several to add different effects to Your images an photos, will let You do things others have not. Here is the images I used to create the two animated .gif’s above:

#1 Original Image - Effect “Mirrored Blocks”

#2 Effect “Inverted Distortion”

#3 Effect “Inverted Mirror”

#4 Effect “Center Swirl”

Giving Your Web page a look no one has makes People interested in Your site. It’s really all about the look, don’t let anyone tell You otherwise. With a good looking web site, more visitors will be inclined to spend there money or read what You wrote. If You have a poor looking site, most People will just click away, an not buy or read anything. Not because what Your selling isn’t good or what You wrote is not worth reading. It just looks unprofessional, and most People steer clear of anything that doesn’t look right or is cheesy.

Remember Be creative an plan out Your animated effects before hand. Find a couple good software programs that let You add several effects and layers. This will open endless possibilities for the creation of Your artwork whether for Your own Personal use or for Your business, Animated art will give You a professional look.
