New York City’s Fifth Avenue Apple Store

      Good Morning America has featured Nicholi White’s latest video of him lipsyncing the song “Boom Boom Pow”, and calling him “YouTube’s Newest Star.” Most recently, White was profiled in the New York Post, where he talks about his newfound web “celebrity” quote “I’m blowing up… I’m going back to school on Sept. 9, and I can’t wait. I’m going to show my teachers.”

     What’s next for Nicholi? Via a video he posted this week, he’s headed to Los Angeles. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but the New York Post is claiming that “the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah have also come calling.”

So the 13 year old boy by the name of Nicholi in this video is lipsyncing the song, Boom Boom Pow, by the Black Eyed Peas. What’s funny is, he even lipsyncs Fergie’s solo. The boy’s courage to vlog like that in the middle of a store and his concentration is what gave the video it’s 284,000 views, what’s most interesting is it was submitted a month ago. There are many people behind him too, wondering who is this kid, and what does he think he’s doing?

     Not only is lipsyncing in the middle of an Apple Store, why don’t the managers kick him out? Were they afraid of racist charges? (Oh Wait, that doesn’t exist!) Is he attracting customers? I wouldn’t think so, because the customers look actually quite “weirded out”. If you will fast-forward through the video, you’ll see at 2:30 a grown-man looks at the camera, and does gestures behind Nicholi. This also happens at 3:17. At the end of the video, you can barely hear “You makin’ a movie?”. White also is wearing a pair of famous’ glasses that have vents in the front, like shades. Could this be a mark against the Black Eyed Peas?
